Construction Update for May 2020 Uncategorized
On the exterior of Building 2 (five-story building along Market and 17th Streets), the brick masonry and canopy installation is finishing along the Blake Street elevation and will continue into the Paseo next. Within the Paseo, metal siding installation is complete. On the interior, installation of cabinetry, flooring and finish trim is progressing on all floors in the portions of the building along Market Street. In the portion of the building at the corner of 17th and Blake Streets, MEP work is complete and being followed by drywall and cabinetry installation, starting on Level 2.
At Building 1 (10-story building along 16th Street), the masons have set up their scaffolding along the lower elevation of the Blake Street façade to begin work there. They are concurrently completing work on the Paseo elevations. Elsewhere on the exterior, window glazing is being installed at the “bridge” located in the middle of the building. On the interior, final MEP inspections continue on Levels 9 and 10, and final framing inspections are ongoing on Levels 7 and 8. On Levels 5 and 6, installation of cabinetry and flooring is progressing.
Out on site, curb, gutter and light pole bases have been installed along Market Street. In the Paseo, waterproofing is proceeding and will be followed by the installation of geo-foam, the snowmelt system, and concrete, in that order. The garage doors for the Paseo retail storefronts have been delivered and are starting to be installed.
