Construction Update for June 2018 Construction Updates
Construction continues to progress, with foundation and concrete work well underway. Current foundation activities include completing the concrete structure for the stormwater detention vault, forming and pouring elevator pits and cores, and forming and pouring foundation walls. Concrete columns are also being poured, the tops of which can be seen from the street along the 16th Street Mall, and the first pours for the garage slab-on-grade have begun.
Utility work has also been a major focus in the last month, as the team makes progress on the new, permanent utility rooms and electrical vault towards the 17th Street end of the site, and installs new underground plumbing and drainage.
